| Miêu tả: | It's the story told by the Martínez brothers about the masquerade tradition in Cartago: the masques appear in the corners of churches, underneath the bridges and the cracks, between curtains and with the children. They walk on high stilts or in hands; sometimes they have been stolen by their colorful appeal, and remain alive because there are families –like de Martínez-- devoted to them. Compilation made by Claudio Quirós, grandson of Guillermo Martínez, and Vania Solano-Laclé, anthropologist. |
