| Disgrifiad: | Due to the degradation of the symbolic and historical meaning of the scuptural monuments installed in public places, it gets really urgent to promote the analysis of the cultural inheritance and the symbols and icons that evoke the past in the present. Because, of that, this article tries to broach to the importance of the test of the civic statuary and the rituals associated to it being shown. As a matter of fact, we are located in the Costa Rican case at the end of the 19th Century and the beginning of the 20th Century. |
