| Περιγραφή: | This paper, presented in two parts, focuses on the analysis of women who, in Costa Rica, from the end of the 19th century to the first decades of the 20th century, were theosophists, freemasons and activists in the movement for the vindication of women’s rights. In the first part, their participation, as founders or members, in three organizations is used as a criterion to identify them: the Theosophical Society, the Saint Germain Lodge no. 621 and the Feminist League. The second part explores biographical aspects and the social and political ties of this activists. |
