He hadfever and the diagnostic work up showed lymphocytic meningitis. He also presented withgeneralized weakness in his four extremities anda neurophysiologic study showed an inflammato-ry poliradiculoneuropathy. The PCR analysis ofthe cerebrospinal fluid was positive for flavivirusinfection. |
