| Descrizione: | This article identifies the religious art found in the Archdiocese of San José created by Juan Rafael Chacón Solares or that can be attributed to his manufacture. The research has three elemental tasks: 1. Determination of the artist´s stylistic features that enables the attribution of his authorship; 2. Drawing up a list of the works attributable to the artist Juan Rafael Chacón; 3. Description of the state of conservation and threats to the existing works of the sculptor in the churches of the Archdiocese of San José. |
