| その他の書誌記述: | Phytomonas elmassiani (Migone, 1916) Wenyon, 1926 is reported occurring in the latex of Asclepias curassavica L. in central Costa Rica. Out of 271 plants examined 114 were positive (42.06%). The flagellate seems not to be pathogenic on A. curassavica, just as HOLMES (8) observed it to be harmless on A. syriaca. Ph. elmassiani seems to be restricted to the American Continent in its distribution. A list of recorded host plants for Ph. elmassiani is given. |
