| その他の書誌記述: | Gravid guapote fishes, Cichlasoma dovii, were captured in the Arenal Reservoir, Guanacaste, Costa Rica in December of 1986. They were kept in a cage culture for two months and then under laboratory conditions until spawning. The eggs are elongated, 2.1 ± 0.5 mm in length and 1. 6 ± 0.5 mm wide. The time from fertilization to hatching is 70-79 hours at 24 ± 0.5 °C. The larvae hatch when they are 7.62 ± 0.53 mm length, and feed 312 hours after hatching. They transform to alevins when 12.76 ± 0.28 mm in length. |
