Successes and mistakes that theorists such as Juan Acha, Marjorie Ávila Salas, Ticio Escobar, César Fernández Moreno and Severo Sarduy had when formulating a theoretical approach to art, aesthetics, and Latin-American culture, as opposed to the theoretical principles of Western aesthetics, which are predominant in art history of this region, are observed. |
