| Disgrifiad: | This is the first finding of serpulids “Rotularia clymenoides” in Costa Rica. Although, this group isvery common in the Caribbean Eocene deposits. Serpulids includes species with high environmental tolerance, likethose that have ocurred during the geological history of Costa Rica, specially in the evolution of the Istmus: like highvolcanic input and inconsistent substrata composed by clastic material.as is documented in the sedimentary basins of Costa Rica. |
