| Descripció: | The goal of this paper is to analyze a piece of discourse that can be characterized as a verbal interaction by which one participant obtains from another a particular course of action. In the analysis, theoretical notions from the speech acts theory, conversational analysis, R. Lakoff's mies of politeness and P. Brown & S. Levinson's politeness framework, among others, are utilized. |
