الوصف:We describe a new digenetic trematode, Dactylostomum winteri belonging to the family Opecoelidae Ozaki, 1925 from the intestine of Paralabrax maculatofasciatus (Steindachner, 1868), a marine fish from Isla Cerralvo, Gulf of California, Mexico. At present there are three other known species in the genus Dactylostomum Woolcock, 1935: the type species D. gracile, from Australia; D. caballeroi, from Hawaii; and D. vitellosum, from Colombia. Dactylostomum winteri n. sp. differs from the other species, in the position of the reproductive pore, in the form of the seminal vesicle and reproductive glands, and in the extension and disposition of the vitelline glands. This is the first species mentioned from the North Pacific Ocean and Mexican marine waters. In the stomach of the marine fish Euthynnus lineatus we found a specimen of a digenetic trematoae that belongs to the family Hirudinellidae Dollfus, 1932, which is identified as Hirudinella marina Garsin, 1730 and redescribed.
