| Diğer Bilgiler: | Belize City has evolved into a territory that is evidently spatial and social divided. This disparity is a direct result of English colonialism, in the English-speaking Caribbean. English Colonialism led to the extraction of the City´s main natural resource being Wood. Geographically, the city grew coastally, spreading into the southern part of the Belize River in a southwest direction. This growth can be perceived from the time of the first British settlements to the present day; however natural disasters and social problems in the Southside of the city have reinforced negative stereotypes of that section of the city, despite the historical and cultural richness of the streets and their people.
