Miêu tả:Accessibility to architectural heritage is an internationally recognized human right and, at the same time, repeatedly violated, as is the case in Argentina. The causes of this situation are multiple and include lack of resources, outdated regulatory frameworks and professional training in architecture, particularly, lacking a transversal rights approach. Given this, the task of projecting and intervening in heritage in an accessible way becomes complex and has an impact on people and goods. Working for the construction of more democratic and egalitarian spaces respecting heritage values is a necessary and urgent task. In this sense, this article shares the results of an investigation focused on the situation of protected assets at the provincial and/or national level of the city of Mar del Plata, which currently have public use or have public access. A methodological path is exposed to face the ways to make accessible the cultural legacy of an intermediate city with complex dynamics of change, on the eve of contributing to the development of inclusive, effective and sustainable guidelines.
