Deskribapena:This article shows the results of a case study carried out in the curriculum of the pro- gram of Spanish Language and Literature of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Through a qualitative approach, the experiences, perspectives, and opinions of students and professors of the program are deepened, with the objective of determining the level of knowledge about the cultural and art manifestations of the Central American region.
