| Deskribapena: | In several collections of clams belonging lo the species Megapilaria squalida, M. uurantiaca, Spundylus prineeps and Laevicardium elarum, which were taken from places near La Paz. B.C.S .. Mexico. 35 specimens (75 . 120 mm of total lenght) of the tropical eastern Pacific pearIfish Encheliophis dubias (Putman). were found. M. squalida is the preferred host, and its occasional hosls are the olher three mentioned clam species. |
