| Omschrijving: | This work correlates the sedimentary facies of the Lower Miocen El Carmen Fromation with fossil facies identified for similar environments. Six ichnogenera are described wich permite the identification of four ichnofacies, specifically: Trypanites, Skolitos, Cruziana and Zoophycos. However, it is not possible, in all cases, tpo make satisfactory bathymetric correlations. |
