| Diğer Bilgiler: | En este artículo sostengo que en el mito de la Serke, los dioses de Talamanca de los vientos y las tormentas, es en realidad una manifestación del tema bien conocido de los hermanos héroe, y que las similitudes detalladas con la versión que se encuentran en el Popol Vuh son una indicación de su difusión desde el Área de Cultura de Mesoamérica. El texto del mito, junto con traducciones tanto literales y gratuitas, está incluido.In this article I argue that the myth of the Sérké, the Talamancan gods of the winds and storms, is actually a manifestation of the well known theme of the hero brothers, and that the detailed similarities with the version found in the Popol Vuh are an indication of its diffusion from the Mesoamerican Culture Area. The text of the myth, together with both literal and free translations, is included. |
