| Description: | This article synthesizes the various positionsof the concept of poverty as well asapproaches to its study, which was conducted by a literature review mapping research inCosta Rica related with the poverty category and its links with social security assistancebetween 2000-2011. The main finding was that poverty is a recurrent object of research,from the perspective of economic welfare with strong influence of the conceptualizationsof international agencies. |
