Description:This paper is an attempt to explain the foreign policy of Honduras from 1850 to 1900 as an expression of the state's evolution, allowing us to understand its handling of foreign affairs. Analyzing the positions, interests and contradictions, its role in a Central American context, and in light of instructions issued to diplomats determine the degree of independence. Understand instructions as the complement of recommendations, facilities, orders, time, validity and means issued to a representative in a diplomatic mission.
