This paper examines how the impoverishedpeople of Pavas managed the difficulties of the symbolic appropriation of the space towhich they were assigned. As a result, three patterns of resistance were identified: antisocialbehaviours as a form of inclusion, the acceptance of their fate as a form of non-resistanceand the construction of their community as a form of care of the self. |
