| Disgrifiad: | The case of a young male patient, previouslyhealthy, attended at the Hospital San Juan deDios in San Jose, Costa Rica is presented. Hecomplained of fever, headache, diplopia, earacheand otorrhea. Meticilin Resistant Staphylococcusaureus (MRSA) was isolated in the ear secretionas well as in two blood cultures. CT scan showedinflammatory changes at the petrous portion ofthe temporal bone. |
