Description:In Cuba, the social politicies traced by the Revolution established the bases to achieve greater feminine participation and social integration. The present paper carries out an analysis of the Cuban woman's curent situation, based on the empowerment concept, defined by UNICEF, operacionalizing it and adapting it to our reality. For this purpose, a study is presented of each of the five levels empowerment: well-being, access, concientización, participation and control, using the available statistics and integrating results of research that has been carried out on these topics in the country.
