| Cur Síos: | Size distribution, density and reproduetion of the razor clam, Tagelus pernvianus (Bivalvia: Solecurtidae) from the estuary of Puntarenas, Gulf of Nicoya, Costa Rica were studied for 13 months. Reproduction takes place year round with a maximun peak between January and February. Recruitment seems to be greater on the lower beach. Mean density is also greater in the same area. |
