Description:The present article pretends to analyze two documents. First, the book “The puppet and the Dwarf the perverse Corse of Christianity” published by S. Žižek (Paidós 2005); second, an exegetic analysis on the fragments of the gospel about the crucifixion and the psalm 22. After reflecting about the message of both texts, stand out some teachings for the present world from both perspectives, in order to access an ideal living of the religion that promotes justice and integral human development. The idea is to acknowledge that the observations made by the psychoanalysts to the Christianity, and to the life of the people in the present, are a valuable diagnosis that needs to be considered in order to help the people in the middle of their most intimate worries in the daily life.
