Description:The Jesús María site was surveyed using the electrical resistivity technique, resulting in the location of anomalies corresponding to probable stone foundations. Moreover, five anomalies were postulated as the remains of fire pits or areas for the cooking of food. Geophysical methods can play an important role in archaeological research projects in the preliminary survey and the planning of excavation units.
