Descrizione:The fossiliferous locality is Nacaome River fluvial deposits located in the bed of river from which it takes its name, 400 m west Copal's crossing on the road Quebrada Honda to Nicoya, Province Guanacaste, at coordinates 236,700 N - 391 650 E, Matambú sheet 3146 III, IGNCR (Laurito et al., 1993). This town was given to initially know Vetsalio Mr. Rivas in the year 1978 with the discovery of a copy hyodon Cuvieronius youth restored by the Dr. Rudolf Fischer and determined by Laurito (1988, 1990).
