תיאור:Seismological and neotonic aspects of the Buenavista fault that generated the earthquake of the same name (July 3, 1983); h- 14 km mb- 5.7 and Ms- 6.1) are analized. This earthquake affected an area of 400 km2 corresponding to the zone surrounded by the VIII isosists (MM) in the northern region of San Isidro del General, Costa Rica.
