Diğer Bilgiler:The article Memories from years 1854-1857, when the author was 18 to 21 years old, written by Mr. Francisco (Chico) Rohrmoser von Chamier (1836-1919) as a request from the historian Mr. Cleto González Víquez, is entirely transcribed. It is of great historical value, as it describes geographical and human aspects of the capital of Costa Rica during the period (1856-1857) when the National War against the filibuster army of William Walker took place. Written in 1913, it was not published until 1940 in the newspaper La Tribuna. In its present version, through many footnotes an interpretation is made of several geographical and historical aspects.
