| Beskrivelse: | It is described a case of meningitis caused by organisms of the genus Colloides, which is considered the first cited in the literature. Due to the differential characteristics of the described organism from those of Colloides anoxydana, a new species is created, denominated Colloides debordii n. sp. honoring Dr. George G. De Bord. |
