| Omschrijving: | The present paper describes the plastochronic changes in the apex and the tip of plagiotropic shoots (branches) of Coffea arabica L. cv. bourbon Choussy. A curve is displayed which shows the fluctuation in the number of cells of the uppermost layer of the tunica during one plastochron. The usefulness and limitations of the tunica-corpus concept are discussed. |
