| Beschreibung: | This article investigates the relationship between motherhood, fatherhood and the participation in activities outside of the home. Based on microdata from the last national population census in Argentina, the occupational and educational participation of fathers and mothers of young children in the City of Buenos Aires are analyzed. It is developed, in descriptive form, how they mutate or persist throughout the process of care and upbringing of the first years, and how these experiences differ according to the age and the position in kinship. |
