Description:The present study shows the evolution of COVID-19 in 35 Latin American countries up to October 31st of 2021 according to daily reports from “Our World in Data”, “JHU CSSE COVID-19 Data”, and other sources. Results indicates that 9 countries (25.7 %) show a trend towards an increase of infections, whereas 26 countries (74.3 %) show a decline of infections. Furthermore, mortality and vaccination progress were showed for the 35 nations. An important aspect is the paradox in Chile that shows a trend towards an increase of infections where 85 % of the national population is fully vaccinated. Lastly, more profound research in each country is recommended, including climatic aspects and COVID-19 evolution.
