| Cur Síos: | The environment in the gonad and epididymal fluid plays a key role for the spermatozoa during its transit through these organs. This is due mainly to osmotic balance, membrane and chromatin stability, morphological changes, and sperm maturation, which are imperative issues to acquire its fertilizing ability. This investigation aims to report for the first time the ionic concentration in testicular and epididymal fluid in Bos indicus bulls and its relationship with scrotal circumference (SC) and epididymal sperm morphology. |
