Miêu tả:Snake venoms induce tissue damage and inflammation which vary in different regions of the tissue. Understanding such heterogeneity in the immune cell microenvironment that follows acute tissue damage induced by venoms is, therefore, relevant. In this study, the methodology of digital spatial profiling was used, in combination with histology and immunohistochemistry, to quantify markers of immune cells in regions of muscle tissue having different extents of Daboia russelii venom-induced damage. A heterogeneous scenario of immune cells was observed, which may have implications for the processes of tissue repair and regeneration.
