Eliot, manifiesta tres influencias religiosas principales: el cristianismo, el budismo y el hinduismo, sistemas de pen- samiento que comúnmente se perciben como incompatibles entre sí. Sin embargo, el más grande logro de Eliot en el poema es presentar dichos sistemas religiosos como partes de un todo y no como fuerzas divergentes. |
