Kuvaus:	In Costa Rica, 100% of public university journals are on the diamond route. Because not all journals are included in selective indexes, it is not possible to know the quality of the journals, to compare them with the others. In order to propose actions for improvement, it is necessary to measure the quality of scientific journals at the national level. This presentation shows the results of the fisrt test for a CONARE journal index.
