| Omschrijving: | Specklinia is a genus of 106 species in the Pleurothallidinae subtribe. Its members are distributed from Mexico, through Central America and the Antilles, to Bolivia and Brazil, with the highest species and phylogenetic diversity found in Costa Rica and Panama. There are 44 species currently reported to occur in the former and about one fourth have been discov- ered and described only in the last decade. |
