Beskrivelse:It was observed that, in daily life, procrastination represented a persistent problem for many people, including students and workers, even becoming a chronic issue that negatively impacts the mental health of those who suffer from it. In response to this problem, a methodology focused on the procrastinating user was designed, developing a product to reduce this inconvenience. The applied methodology included several user tests, interviews, and other techniques to gather relevant information during the gadget's design. Thanks to the vast collection of information provided by users, it was concluded that most were aware of their procrastination, but often the available applications or tools became another task, preventing them from starting to get organized. As a result, FocusMate was developed, a time management assistance system. Its purpose is to organize the user and motivate them to complete pending tasks during their daily routine in a simple, intuitive, and portable way, it aims to help reduce procrastination and improve the quality of life of procrastinators.
