Description:This study describes the implementation of the Lean Six Sigma methodology to recover purged PVC waste in the company Conducen SRL, aligning the production process with circular economy principles. By applying the DMAIC cycle and tools such as the Ishikawa diagram, “5 Whys”, FMEA, and visual analysis, the main root causes of waste were identified, leading to the development of a structured recovery strategy. As a result, the company achieved a 92% recovery rate, reduced production costs by 23.7%, and avoided an estimated 4 metric tons of annual CO₂ emissions. The solution proved to be sustainable, replicable, and aligned with cleaner production practices. This project serves as a strong example of continuous improvement in industrial settings seeking operational efficiency and environmental responsibility.
