Description:This paper focused on a visualization of data on North Atlantic hurricane characteristics and atmospheric variables over a 100-year period (1920-2020). Also, the purpose of the visualization was to identify possible correlations between atmospheric variables and some of the characteristics of hurricanes generated over the years in the North Atlantic area, using data reported by NASA's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and its Hurricane Research Division. The "Dashboard design" methodology developed by Ph.D. Franklin Hernández-Castro was used for this project. This methodology was adequately adjusted to the research process for data visualization, which included multiple stages of research, design and evaluation. In addition, the System Usability Scale (SUS) and ISO 9241-1 tools were implemented to evaluate the usability of the digital product. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the tool was able to meet its objectives and expectations in terms of visualizing the correlation between variables using the heat map visualization paradigm and its components. However, there were difficulties and limitations in the interaction of some components of the visualization, which were identified to determine possible solutions as a recommendation.
