Disgrifiad:This article aims to examine the Costa Rican academic production on LGBTIQ populations, gender-based dissidence and its issues, published during the period 2013-2023. Through a search in national and international databases, a corpus of 142 documents was found, distributed among academic articles, final graduate works, books and book chapters. In general terms, there is an increase in the number of publications in relation to the previous period, and a greater diversity in terms of disciplines and areas of knowledge where research has been developed. Studies on transgender populations and the different approaches to civil rights predominate, while Law and Social Work are the two areas with the largest number of contributions. The balance allows us to conclude that this is a dynamic, growing and multidisciplinary field of research.
