Descripción:Each of the indigenous territories that make up Mesoamerica are valuable sources that allow us, through research, to rescue transcendental data on the role they played and their influence on the different and changing social dynamics.  For the purposes of this article, an analysis of the book was made: Brief history of the Mesoamerican religious tradition, by the author Alfredo López Austin, where the value of the different indigenous religious beliefs is evidenced, in addition to exposing the conquest as a fundamental axis in the configuration of a new society, which leaves a legacy of religious practices to the following generations, which in turn has worked for the power apparatuses over the years.
