Descripción:Beginning with an ample and diverse archeological, historical and ethnographic bibliography-some recent and others not so recent but all of a great validity-this presents a historic/cultural vision of the most relevant characteristics of the human groups that populated Cuba from around 10,000 B.C., a flow that was interrupted by the arrival of Christopher Columbus. The article covers: the content of daily life, society, culture, behavior regarding death and the more advanced populations that arrived on the island, the final waves of Aruacos speakers, incorporating also their world vision, religion, magic and mythology.
