| Popis: | Following Japan's opening during the second half of the nineteen century, a proliferation of literary works of art emerged trying to describe the archipelago. Among these works, there's a special place for the chronicles of intellectuals who had the chance to travel there. Por mares i por tierras, a chronicle written by Eduardo Wilde can be a part of said works. This analysis tries to prove what type of representation Wilde's works created about Japan in your try to make a modern Nation. Due to this last concept connection with Wilde's civilatization's ideas, we must study them together to understand the reasin why Wilde, unlike others intellectuals of his time, chose Japan as the best civilizational model of a Nation. |
