Descripción: | This article submits that the area of action of the sanitary politics of the General FranciscoMenendez’s (1885-1890) government, there centered in the world coffee grower of theSalvadorian west. He was not preparing of the chattels and doctors to carry out a campaignof vaccination on a national scale. The principal disease of the country was related to thefevers of all kinds and the malaria due to the bad hygienic conditions and to small educationconcerning the eradication of the stagnant waters. On the other hand, the exiguouspopular literacy influenced in little identification of the Salvadorian, with the practice ofthe physical exercise. |
