To this end, it is necessary to eliminate the procedural offences on the basis of which the supervisory body has initiated disciplinary proceedings, so as to enable it to invest its resources in verifying the accuracy of the declaration’s content, and other substantive or fundamental offences, which constitute the actual acts of corruption; This is to ensure that the asset declaration fulfils the objective for which it was created: to aid in the detection and fight against corruption. |
