| Kuvaus: | This article presents a methodology for the textual analysis of a corpus from Poesía Bribri de lo Cotidiano (2006). The aim of this study is to demonstrate the possibility —and necessity— of analyzing Bribri textualities and oral traditions without losing sight of the symbolic-cultural framework embedded in these manifestations. To this end, a multi-step methodology is proposed, which includes the use of anthropological references as well as digital and linguistic tools, such as the Diccionario bribri-español español-bribri (Krohn, 2025) and the Diccionario de Mitología Bribri (Jara y García, 2018). Additionally, as a critical introduction, the article addresses the colonial and marginalized context of Indigenous literature in Costa Rica, along with a series of justifications for its study and dissemination in this field. In conclusion, the proposed methodology enabled an in-depth analysis of the texts and allowed access to central themes of the Bribri belief system embedded in their poetry, such as the concept of Sulékáska, the dual world of Sibö̀/Sula´, among others. |
