Descripció:Introduction: The artistic project Bodynet-Khorós, led by Jaime del Val, seeks to address the challenges of the current global crisis. It aims to liberate attention from screens and algorithmic logics through collective bodily practices. Drawing on a movement theory informed by recent developments in embodied cognition, the project introduces concepts such as plastic or expanded proprioception and metaception. The practical application of these notions through collective movement may contribute to reimagining interpersonal relationships. Objective: This research seeks to assess the ways in which participants experienced plastic proprioception and metaception in a workshop conducted in Spain in 2023. The workshop explored micromovements, interactions with the environment, and collective dynamics to foster a shared perception of space and others. Methods: This study is based on indirect observation and an analysis of questionnaires completed by participants in the workshop. Results: The findings reveal that these practices facilitated the emergence of a metabody, a constantly evolving collective entity that challenges conventional perceptual structures. Conclusions: Plastic proprioception may serve as a key tool for developing new forms of social interaction, fostering expanded awareness, and promoting a more balanced relationship with the world.
