| Descripción: | This paper includes a series of considerations about the journey as a motif and road movies in Costa Rican films, which came about from the previous bibliographical and filmic research necessary for the production of a mid-length film using this particular film sub-genre. It will characterize North and Latin American road movies, to finally propose some reasons that could explain this motif’s recurrence in our national cinema. |
