الوصف:Spinal block is the most frequently used alternative for arthroscopic knee surgeries in the country due to its multiple advantages, in which the use of intrathecal opioids, such as fentanyl, has been used to decrease latency, pain, and recovery time. The aim of the study is to compare the effects of spinal anesthesia in patients undergoing knee arthroscopy, using levobupivacaine versus the same dose of levobupivacaine plus fentanyl, as secondary objectives the latency time, pain intensity and discharge time of the patients will be compared. A total of 19 patients were recruited, after the spinal block, the reported data were analyzed, thus showing a significant decrease in the latency time when fentanyl was added, as well as a significant decrease in pain, and there was no difference in the recovery time between both solutions employed
